PRESS RELEASE: Carerix adds Joboti chat module to its services

Robotisation in the recruitment sector via virtual recruitment assistant Eva

Delft/Amsterdam, 25 April 2017 Carerix, which supplies recruitment solutions to corporate recruiters and intermediaries, has expanded its range of services by including a HR chat module developed by Joboti. The virtual recruitment assistant, Eva, makes it easy to communicate with candidates, which helps to improve the quality of candidate profiles and thus offer advantages to Carerix customers. Joboti is a young company and started to develop AI (Artificial Intelligence) based chat modules for the HR sector around a year ago. This means founders Luuk van Neerven and Stephan Kockelkoren are the first people in the Netherlands to focus on offering robotisation in the recruitment sector via a virtual recruitment assistant. The fully automated chat module takes control of several simple processes in the recruitment process and offers added value to recruiters as well as candidates. For instance, Eva can help recruiters when mapping out a candidate profile, pre-selecting candidates or re-approaching candidates from the talent pool. Interaction with candidates helps to improve engagement and allows recruiters to work more efficiently via better insights into collected and structured data.

Easily accessible

The Joboti chat module has been fully integrated into the Carerix platform. All data collected via the chat feature is stored directly in Carerix’s ATS (Application Tracking System). Van Neerven: “This means Carerix users can collect more information about candidates and thus improve candidate profiles. Of every 100 visitors to a job site, only two or three eventually decide to submit an application. The remaining 97 percent mainly look for information when they visit for the first time. But Eva also interacts with these candidates”.

After Eva was implemented, we noticed that a third of all visits to job sites take place outside office hours”, says Luuk van Neerven. “It is very easy for candidates to ask Eva questions 24/7, without immediately having to come into contact with a real person”.

Get started immediately

All details collected during an initial interview are immediately saved in the candidate profile, which means recruiters can get started straight away. Van Neerven: “Eva not only improves the candidate experience, but also creates a better relationship between companies and candidates. For instance, Eva can use candidate profiles to make a specific proposal to, for example, candidates that live in Utrecht but are looking for work in Amsterdam”. Joboti is very pleased with the partnership with Carerix. Van Neerven: “Carerix believes in innovation and offers our young start-up a platform to jointly optimise recruitment processes”.

“We are very pleased with this innovative addition to our platform”, says Reinald Snik (CEO Carerix). “Artificial Intelligence will change the recruitment profession. It offers many possibilities and we are pleased to explore them via innovative start-ups like Joboti. The chat bot has already proven itself and is used intensively by our customers. A lot of our visitors (36 percent) chat outside office hours, but we have been able to answer their questions immediately. Octas – our pilot customer for the Eva virtual recruitment assistant – was even nominated for the Werf& awards, which is the leading event about effective labour market communication and recruitment.
