The personal data we process

Carerix BV processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have personally decided to supply it to us.

Here is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First name and surname
  • Sex
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Other data you actively provide, e.g. by creating a profile on this website or by writing to us or phoning us
  • Location-related data
  • Data about your activities on our website
  • Data about your surfing behaviour on various websites (for example, because this company is part of an advertising network)

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or services do not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have been given consent by a parent or guardian. However, we are unable to check whether visitors are over the age of 16. We thus advise parents to monitor the online activities of their children, so data about children is not collected without parental consent. If you believe we have collected the personal data of a minor without such consent, then please contact us via privacy@carerix.com; we will then delete this information.

Why we require data

Carerix BV processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To send digital communication
  • To phone you if needed to perform our services
  • Carerix BV analyses your behaviour on our website so the website can be improved and our range of products and services can be matched to your preferences.

How long data is stored

Carerix BV will not store your data for longer than strictly necessary to realise the objective for which it was collected. Our storage period is: 1 year.

Sharing with others

Carerix BV does not sell your data to third parties and will only supply it if this is necessary to execute our agreement with you or to comply with legal requirements. To make sure the same level of security and confidentiality is always applied to your data, we establish processing agreements with all companies charged with processing your data on our behalf. Carerix BV remains responsible for this processing at all times.

Monitoring website visits

Carerix BV uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website for the first time. Carerix BV only uses cookies that are purely technical in nature. They ensure the website functions properly, are able to e.g. remember your preferred settings and help us to make the website more user-friendly. They also allow us to improve our website. We also place cookies that register your surfing behaviour so we can display tailor-made content and adverts.
When you visited our website for the first time, we informed you about these cookies and asked for your permission to place them.
You can reject cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser so cookies are no longer stored. In addition, you can delete all previous stored information via the settings in your internet browser.

Accessing, modifying and deleting data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request to access, correct or delete data to privacy@carerix.com. To make sure the access request has been submitted by you, we kindly ask you to attach a copy of your identity card to the request e-mail. When doing so, we ask you to use a marker to redact your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone; the row of numbers at the bottom of your passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) on the copy. This is aimed at protecting your privacy. Carerix BV will then respond to your request as soon as possible (certainly within four weeks).

Google calendar

If you want to sync your Carerix Meetings with Google Calendar, you will need to provide use access to your calendar, so you can create/update/read or delete your meetings from within your Carerix Meetings screen.
In order to send Google invite mails to your attendees, you need to grant access to your Gmail, so a Google invite mail can be sent on your behalf. You can start/stop the authorisation the Google Calendar and Gmail at ‘My Profile, Calendar sync’.

So how does it work?
When you open your Carerix Meetings, we send a request to Google to retrieve the information about your calendar. Carerix has contracted third party Nylas to provide this technical integration between Carerix and multiple third party calendar solutions, like Google Calendar. If you create a meeting in Carerix, we will request your Gmail account to send the Google invite mail to your attendee(s).
