The Carerix Job Alert

In the current job market, many candidates will already be employed. Your perfect candidate is therefore probably still comfortable with his current employer and will not leave his job any time soon. For you as a recruiter this often means more patience and effort to achieve the desired result. Unfortunately, the chance that your vacancy is a direct hit when you approach someone is very small. In addition, you often spend a lot of time and money on social media campaigns to attract visitors to your organization. But the chance that the visitor will actually leave their details is rather slim.

Advertising and approaching candidates is a good first step when it comes to sharing the expertise you hold in your organization. Often the barrier to eventually apply is just too high. The effort to create a Job Alert, on the other hand, is much lower. Many candidates search for vacancies and hardly ever for specific organizations.

What does this mean for you as a Recruiter?

In an automated way the Job Alert shows what jobs you have to offer and on top of that, your company name will get the right amount of exposure. With the access of basic contact information from your candidate you can automatically request saving all the data according to the rules of the GDPR. With this in order you can take the next step in completing your candidate’s profile, such as making an inventory of wishes and ambitions. Now you can really help your candidate find their dream job.

Did you know that a Job Alert is the perfect way to keep your candidates engaged even if they are not looking for a job at the moment, but might be in the future? With a Job Alert you boost your exposure as an organization. Now, you can make sure that you will always be top-of-mind when your candidate is actively searching for a new job.

What can you do with a Job Alert?

A Job Alert is an automated Email with the newest job offerings for your candidates that match a specified search profile.
For example; your candidate has a current job as a specialized planner for a civil engineering company. The candidate wants to just receive jobs related to civil engineering companies with a frequency of once a week. Did you sign up for a Job Alert? Then your candidate will always be the first to receive only vacancies as selected by their requirements.

How does it work?

As a Recruiter; you decide how many Job Alerts get sent out. This can be on a daily, weekly or on a monthly basis. Within Carerix you select the desired function group and make sure you change the status of your candidate to ‘active’ or ‘available’. The last step in the process is that you specify the job title and Carerix will automatically send the desired Emails to your candidates. Candidates can sign up for a Job Alert themselves. This way, you can also attract new candidates.

We also offer the possibility to customize your Job Alert. You can, for example, make a distinction between part-time and full-time jobs, working days, required knowledge and region.
